  • A Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Pennsylvania is a clinician who has completed a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling (or a closely related field) and is actively accruing the 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience needed to become a fully licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). They are supervised closely and must adhere to professional and ethical standards, ensuring safe and responsible care from the start of their practice
